Director of Revenue Management (Pre-Opening)

About the role

The Director of Revenue Management (Pre‑Opening) will build and launch the revenue strategy for Kempinski’s new hotel in Manama. Working closely with the General Manager, Sales and Marketing teams, you will establish market positioning, design rate structures and set up all revenue‑related systems before the property opens its doors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitive market analyses and feasibility studies to define positioning and rate architecture.
• Design corporate rate structures, seasonal yield strategies, packages and upsell paths.
• Develop the opening‑year revenue plan, including ADR, occupancy and RevPAR targets.
• Configure and integrate PMS, RMS, CRS, channel manager and rate‑shop tools, and negotiate connections with GDS, OTAs and wholesale distributors.
• Lead the creation of pre‑opening and Year 1 revenue budgets, KPIs and reporting dashboards.
• Partner with Sales to set group pricing guidelines and with Digital Marketing to drive direct‑booking campaigns.
• Monitor competitor launch activities and adjust the strategy accordingly.
• Analyse daily rate‑shop reports, STR data and booking pace to optimise revenue post‑opening.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and executing revenue strategies for hotel openings.
• Strong analytical ability to build forecasting models and revenue budgets.
• Excellent collaboration skills with sales, marketing and operations teams.
