Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping and laundry functions for a luxury hotel, ensuring immaculate guest rooms and public spaces while establishing operational structures before the hotel opens.

Key responsibilities

• Develop operating procedures, cleaning schedules, and departmental staffing guides for pre‑opening readiness.
• Oversee daily housekeeping, laundry, and public area teams to maintain high hygiene and aesthetic standards.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, and train staff on luxury cleanliness protocols, chemical handling, and safety.
• Manage budgets, control linen and supply inventories, and coordinate with external contractors such as laundry and pest control services.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Front Office to resolve maintenance issues and ensure efficient room turnovers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Deputy in a luxury hotel, preferably with pre‑opening project exposure.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, leadership ability, and fluent business communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PMS systems, specifically the Opera Housekeeping module.
