About the role

The Assistant Retail Manager supports the Retail Manager in daily store operations, driving sales performance and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Retail Manager with store operations, sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Supervise, motivate and guide sales staff, manage scheduling, attendance and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, stocktaking and merchandising.
  • Handle cash, daily sales reconciliation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration or related field (advantage).
  • Previous retail sales or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with point‑of‑sale or inventory management systems.
