About the role

The Assistant Retail Manager supports the Retail Manager in daily store operations, driving sales performance and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Retail Manager with store operations, sales strategies and promotional activities.
Supervise, motivate and guide sales staff, manage scheduling, attendance and performance evaluations.
Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, stocktaking and merchandising.
Handle cash, daily sales reconciliation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration or related field (advantage).
Previous retail sales or supervisory experience.
Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with point‑of‑sale or inventory management systems.
