Accountant – Investment Group

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Accountant to join a leading investment group. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and helps maintain compliance with internal controls and IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date general ledger records.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment‑related transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury operations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in line with company policies.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
• Assist in accounting and reporting of investment‑related activities across entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within investment, financial services, or corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Experience in reconciliations, month‑end closing, and financial reporting.
• Bilingual Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge.
• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.
