Accounting & Finance Executive

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Executive will provide accurate financial information to senior management, supporting decision‑making through detailed analysis and reporting. This position is based in Manama and works closely with internal teams and external partners such as manufacturers and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturers on outstanding support claims and process credit notes.
• Review and manage daily warranty receivables.
• Generate, verify, and process pending supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment and allocation.
• Reconcile manufacturer statements with company books and resolve unreconciled items.
• Account for warranty and service‑plan invoices and related credit notes.
• Prepare weekly reports on warranty receivable status for the department head.
• Create month‑end accruals for MIS closure.
• Record assets in the asset register and assign tag numbers in collaboration with IT.
• Prepare payment vouchers and perform bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit‑card transactions for customs duties and vehicle registrations.
• Process marketing reimbursement claims and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Support the Account Manager and Chief Accountant in daily finance and accounting tasks.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, and other departments as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
