AI Specialist

About the role

The AI Specialist will work with business teams, IT and external partners to identify, evaluate and implement practical AI solutions that improve productivity, quality and decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and assess AI tools, models, agents and platforms for relevance to business needs.
• Translate business challenges into clear AI use cases and support small pilots or proofs of concept.
• Compare solutions on usability, accuracy, security, integration, cost and expected value.
• Configure and implement approved AI solutions using available platforms.
• Coordinate AI initiatives, track timelines, risks and outcomes, and document lessons learned.
• Maintain documentation, user guides and progress reports while ensuring responsible AI use.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Approximately three years of experience with technology, AI, automation or digital solutions.
• Strong research, analytical and problem‑solving skills with a curiosity for emerging AI capabilities.
• Ability to communicate AI concepts in simple business language and work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 components: SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, APIs, JavaScript or C# for prototyping.
• Understanding of large language models, prompting, AI agents, automation and system integration.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
