Analyst - Data Science

About the role

Marsh is looking for an early‑career data professional to join its Bahrain hub and support teams across India, the Middle East and Africa. The role offers exposure to data science, AI, visualisation and business analytics while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Explore business needs across functions and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Extract, analyse and model data using Python, Streamlit and AI tools to improve processes.
• Develop end‑to‑end tools and automation solutions with Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
• Support reporting, stakeholder communication and documentation of solutions.
• Continuously learn about Marsh’s business, the insurance industry and emerging AI technologies.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, proactive curiosity and good written/oral communication.
• Ability to build stakeholder management and reporting skills over time.
• Attention to detail and willingness to train others on AI tools.

Required skills

• Python programming, including Streamlit.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with NLP techniques and large language models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Co‑work.
• Hands‑on use of Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
