IT Assets Administrator – Bahrain

About the role

The IT Assets Administrator will manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets across the organization in Bahrain. This role ensures accurate asset records, supports compliance, and coordinates asset movements, transfers and disposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage acquisition, deployment, transfer, maintenance, recovery and disposal of IT assets.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the Asset Management System and CMDB, tracking ownership, location and configuration.
• Perform regular physical inventories and audits, reconciling discrepancies.
• Coordinate asset issuance, returns, replacements and recoveries during employee transfers or off‑boarding.
• Monitor stock levels, support operational needs and document all asset transactions.
• Assist with software asset management and basic license compliance.
• Support internal, external, compliance and financial audits with accurate documentation.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management or related inventory management roles.
• Previous experience working in a large or enterprise‑scale IT environment.

Required skills

• Experience with IT Asset Management systems and CMDB platforms.
• Familiarity with inventory and discovery tools.
• Proficiency with ITSM / Service Desk tools, preferably ServiceNow or similar.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or comparable reporting tools.
