About the role
KPMG Bahrain is seeking a qualified Audit Assistant Manager with 1‑2 years of post‑qualification experience to lead audit engagements independently under the guidance of senior managers and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute audit engagements of varying sizes, managing deadlines and communicating progress to senior staff.
- Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members, providing clear instructions and timely feedback.
- Obtain and present sufficient audit evidence, document work according to KPMG methodology and professional standards, and identify and escalate significant issues.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Accounting or related field.
- Fully qualified (CA, ACCA, ACA or CPA) with 1‑2 years post‑qualification audit experience, preferably in a Big Four firm.
- Demonstrated ability to act independently as the main person in charge of audit engagements.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant auditing standards.
- Familiarity with KPMG Audit Methodology and best‑practice reporting.
