About the role

The Assistant Manager supports the Shop/Department Manager in running daily operations and steps in as needed to maintain high standards of customer service and store performance.

Key responsibilities

Communicate sales plans and targets to the team, monitor performance and recommend corrective actions.
Assign routine and non‑routine tasks, assist in scheduling Sales Associates, Cashiers and Coordinators.
Greet customers, ensure timely service and compliance with quality standards.
Report operational issues, handle customer complaints promptly and propose solutions or escalations.
Assist with inventory maintenance, product ordering and stock availability.
Motivate and support team members through training and development.
Supervise opening procedures, including petty cash, reporting and system checks.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree.
1–2 years of experience in a managerial role; retail experience is a plus.
Good product knowledge and understanding of store operating procedures.
Fluency in English.

Required skills

Proficiency in MS Office.
