Assistant Restaurant Manager – Primavera (Italian Speaking)

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the daily operations of the Primavera restaurant in Manama, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. This role is ideal for an Italian‑speaking professional who can lead a team during peak periods and help drive the restaurant’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising shift operations and staff performance.
• Handle employee queries, provide feedback, and coach team members on service standards.
• Ensure all supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available for each shift.
• Communicate food‑quality or service issues to the Chef and Manager promptly.
• Monitor compliance with restaurant policies, sanitation standards, and local alcohol‑service regulations.
• Track and strive to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and cost targets.
• Open and close the restaurant, performing necessary cash and inventory procedures.
• Interact with guests, gather feedback, resolve complaints, and promote a positive dining experience.
• Support training initiatives and on‑the‑job learning for all staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a two‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage operational challenges, and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
