Auto Finance Coordinator

About the role

The Auto Finance Coordinator is responsible for processing customer requests for internal financing options and securing external financing from banks for vehicle purchases. This role requires solid finance knowledge, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer requests for internal financing, reviewing credit applications and verifying information.
• Explain financing options, terms and conditions to customers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide accurate financing information.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure vehicle loans.
• Prepare and submit complete loan documentation.
• Negotiate loan terms and interest rates on behalf of customers.
• Monitor current lending rates, loan programs and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the financing process.
• Prepare weekly reports on in‑house deals, bank deals and approved customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting within the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial concepts.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Capacity to multitask, prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
