Automotive Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our automotive division. The role involves directing a sales team, shaping strategy, and driving growth while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the automotive sales team to exceed targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base.
• Set individual and team sales goals and monitor performance through regular reviews.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Oversee the full sales process from enquiry to vehicle handover.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage vehicle inventory and align stock levels with sales forecasts.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or senior sales role in the automotive industry.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, management and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of automotive market dynamics, sales techniques and financing options.
