B1 Licensed Engineer – Line Maintenance in Bahrain

About the role

Altitude Engineering is seeking a UK‑licensed B1 Engineer for line‑maintenance duties in Bahrain. The position operates on a 3‑weeks‑on/3‑weeks‑off roster with built‑in stand‑down, includes HOTAC, and provides flights to and from Bahrain, sometimes on a jump‑seat. The role is part of Altitude Engineering’s Part 145 network and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line‑maintenance tasks on B767 GE CF6 and B777 GE90 powered aircraft.
• Undertake “Flying Spanner” duties and ensure compliance with Part 145 standards.
• Manage stand‑down periods within the shift to meet minimum HF conditions.

Required profile

• Current UK B1 licence (B1/B2 licence considered an advantage).
• Valid licence on either B767 GE CF6 or B777 GE90 engine types, preferably both.
• Willingness to work the 3‑weeks‑on/3‑weeks‑off schedule.

Required skills

• Expertise with B767 GE CF6 engines.
• Expertise with B777 GE90 engines.
• Line‑maintenance proficiency on commercial aircraft.
