Bank Teller

About the role

The Bank Teller will deliver high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused counter services by accurately processing financial transactions for individual and corporate clients in a secure, risk-free manner. The role ensures strict adherence to bank policies, operational procedures and service standards while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other financial transactions for both individual and corporate customers.
• Verify customer identification and documentation in line with KYC and AML regulations.
• Detect and report discrepancies, irregularities or potential fraud in transactions.
• Follow established operational controls and banking procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate records and reconcile teller cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Contribute to achieving defined KPIs and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of experience in banking operations or customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when handling cash and documents.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining efficiency.
• Positive attitude, resilience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving capability to address customer issues and operational challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with teller systems and cash-handling equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as KYC and AML.
• Understanding of banking operations, processes and compliance standards.
