About the role

Join the Marriott La Med team as a Barista, delivering memorable coffee experiences to guests in a luxury hospitality setting. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring every beverage meets the brand’s high standards while contributing to an overall exceptional guest journey.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to Ritz‑Carlton standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including coffee equipment and service areas.
• Handle cash and process guest payments accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report any equipment issues.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Commitment to providing excellent guest service.

Required skills

• Ability to operate coffee machines and related equipment safely.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order taking.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).
• Strong communication skills in English.
