Business Development Manager – Insurance (GCC)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for our firm by identifying and securing opportunities within the GCC insurance sector. You will enhance market presence, build lasting client relationships, and increase revenue through tailored consultancy services for insurance companies, brokers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with firm goals and focused on the insurance sector.
• Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients, building strong relationships with decision‑makers at insurance companies, brokers, and related stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities and provide market insights.
• Prepare high‑quality proposals, presentations, and service agreements; lead contract negotiations while ensuring profitability.
• Collaborate with internal consulting, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and incorporate client feedback.
• Set and achieve business development targets, maintain accurate CRM records, and report performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CII or CPCU.
• Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience within the insurance sector.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals with insurance companies, brokers or loss adjusters.
• Strong understanding of GCC insurance regulations, market trends and operational processes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
