Business Development Manager – Insurance (GCC)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for the firm by identifying and securing opportunities within the GCC insurance sector. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building lasting client relationships, and delivering tailored consultancy services to insurers, brokers and related stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the firm’s goals and the insurance market.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new clients, maintaining strong relationships with decision‑makers at insurance companies and brokers.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and service agreements, and lead contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Set and achieve sales targets, report KPIs to senior management and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related field; professional certification (CII, CPCU) required.
• Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience in the insurance sector.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals with insurers, brokers or loss adjusters.
• Deep understanding of the GCC insurance market, regulations and trends.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
