Business Development Manager – Insurance Sector (GCC)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Qureos Inc. by identifying and securing opportunities within the GCC insurance sector. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building client relationships, and delivering tailored consultancy services to insurers, brokers and related stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals and the insurance market.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new clients, maintaining relationships with decision‑makers at insurance companies and brokers.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and service agreements; lead contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track sales activities, prospects and client interactions in a CRM system and report on KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CII or CPCU.
• Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience in the insurance sector.
• Proven record of revenue generation and deal closure with insurers or brokers.
• Deep knowledge of GCC insurance regulations and market dynamics.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and proposal development abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems for sales tracking.
