About the role
The CAMO Engineer will support the effective management of continuing airworthiness activities for Texel Air aircraft. This role ensures that aircraft remain safe, compliant, and available by handling airworthiness planning, records control, maintenance programme compliance, and reliability monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Support management and monitoring of aircraft continuing airworthiness requirements in line with BCAA regulations and Texel Air manuals.
- Assist with control and review of maintenance programmes, life‑limited parts, airworthiness limitations, and scheduled maintenance data.
- Monitor technical records, work packs, component certificates, and related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Track and follow up defects, deferred and repetitive defects, technical delays, and reliability trends in coordination with maintenance operations and external providers.
- Assist with Airworthiness Directive, Service Bulletin, modification, repair, and compliance status reviews.
- Support aircraft lease, entry‑into‑service, delivery, redelivery, audit, and records review activities as required.
- Prepare reports, summaries, compliance reviews, and technical data to aid CAMO decision‑making and regulatory oversight.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, maintenance providers, suppliers, and regulatory representatives.
- Promote a strong safety, compliance, and continuous‑improvement culture within the CAMO function.
Required profile
- Formal aircraft maintenance engineering qualification, aviation technical qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, planning, technical records, quality, or continuing airworthiness.
- Knowledge of CAMO responsibilities, aircraft maintenance programmes, technical records, AD/SB control, reliability monitoring, and aviation regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Boeing 737 aircraft, cargo operations, or Texel Air systems is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
