Civil Engineer – Structural Design & Project Management

About the role

Graviton Interiors is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join its design team in Manama. The role focuses on structural design, analysis, and project coordination for interior construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes, standards, and engineering formulas.
• Create schematic and conceptual layouts, and produce detailed drawings and sketches.
• Research design options, document findings, and support the lead engineer on assigned projects.
• Develop probable construction cost estimates and assist with contract administration.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Supervise Designers/Drafters and act as the client contact on smaller projects.
• Conduct field activities, record existing conditions, and verify measurements.
• Prepare and organize technical documents using engineering design software.
• Participate in client and coordination meetings, enforce site safety rules, and manage non‑conformance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural design and project execution within a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lead small projects and act as a point of contact for clients.
• Strong organizational skills for handling documentation and coordination tasks.
