Complex Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Complex Executive Housekeeper oversees daily shift operations for housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry (when applicable) at a hotel property in Manama, Bahrain. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and inspected to meet quality standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping shift activities, inspections, and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate room status communication with the Front Desk and assign cleaning priorities.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to guarantee adequate stock.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, striving to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Train new room attendants, schedule staff according to business demand, and track attendance.
• Apply consistent disciplinary procedures and documentation per SOPs and LSOPs.
• Recognize and reward employee performance, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, budgeting, and guest service standards.
• Ability to lead a team, conduct inspections, and enforce policies.
