Compliance Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the identification, assessment and mitigation of legal and regulatory risks across its global operations. The role will ensure that business activities align with applicable laws, standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Track, sort and interpret legal and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on business units.
• Identify compliance risks, develop and implement control measures, and conduct professional compliance reviews of contracts, agreements and other documents.
• Establish communication channels with regulators, law firms, industry associations and key clients to facilitate dialogue and collaboration.
• Lead the discreet resolution of compliance incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Design and deliver internal training programs to embed a proactive compliance culture throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law with a valid legal practicing qualification or bar admission.
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in compliance management, corporate governance or legal practice.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Chinese and Arabic is a plus.
• Prior experience with compliance frameworks in multinational enterprises or international financial institutions is advantageous.
