Corporate Relationship Manager – Islamic Bank

About the role

The Corporate Relationship Manager will lead a portfolio of corporate clients for an Islamic bank in Bahrain, driving growth across deposits, liabilities and cross‑selling of FX, Trade Finance and Treasury solutions. The role combines client relationship management with a strong focus on compliance and product expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate clients, acquiring new relationships to meet liability, CASA, deposit and cross‑selling targets.
• Develop strong client relationships through regular meetings, market visits and account reviews.
• Coordinate with internal product partners to deliver tailored banking solutions, including FX, Trade Finance and Treasury products.
• Ensure all client documentation, KYC, OMNI and PEP records are up‑to‑date and compliant with AML policies and Central Bank regulations.
• Prepare credit‑related correspondence, client reports, proposals and internal requests while liaising with operations and support teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA, CA, CMA or relevant certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and Islamic banking standards.
• Good knowledge of AML/compliance policies, CBUAE regulations and KYC requirements.
• Excellent relationship management, business development and negotiation skills, fluent in English and Arabic.
