Corporate Relationship Manager – Islamic Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Relationship Manager for our Islamic Banking division to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients in Bahrain. The role focuses on acquiring new relationships and deepening existing ones to meet liability, CASA, deposit and cross‑selling targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate clients while acquiring new‑to‑bank relationships.
• Achieve targets for liabilities, CASA, deposits and cross‑selling of FX, Trade Finance and Treasury products.
• Develop strong client relationships through regular meetings, market visits and account reviews.
• Coordinate with internal product partners to deliver tailored banking solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client documentation, KYC, OMNI and PEP records in line with AML policies and Central Bank regulations.
• Prepare credit‑related correspondence, client reports, proposals and internal requests.
• Collaborate with operations and support departments to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA, CA, CMA or relevant banking certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products including liabilities, CASA, Trade Finance, Treasury and FX; knowledge of Islamic Banking standards is a plus.
• Good knowledge of AML/compliance policies, CBUAE regulations and KYC requirements.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and multitasking abilities with solid computer proficiency.
