Demand Planning Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead our demand forecasting, sales & operations planning (S&OP) and inventory optimisation initiatives. The role will work closely with commercial, supply‑chain and finance teams to ensure demand plans are accurate, aligned with business objectives and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute demand planning strategies that support business and supply‑chain goals.
• Build statistical forecasting models using historical sales, market trends and customer demand data.
• Lead the S&OP process in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, operations and procurement.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse demand drivers, seasonality, promotions and product launches.
• Optimise inventory levels to minimise stock‑outs, excess inventory and obsolescence.
• Create demand scenarios, capacity‑planning models and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels and fill rates.
• Prepare executive dashboards, planning reports and strategic recommendations.
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting and strategic business‑planning initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, predictive analytics and AI‑powered forecasting solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in demand planning, supply‑chain planning, forecasting, inventory management or S&OP.
• Proven track record of developing demand forecasts and improving supply‑chain performance.
• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in forecasting techniques, statistical analysis and business modelling.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills.
• Experience collaborating with sales, operations, finance, procurement and executive leadership.
