Car Wash Supervisor

About the role

The Car Wash Supervisor oversees all vehicle washing and cleaning activities for a rental fleet, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest cleanliness standards before it reaches the customer. This role combines team leadership, quality control, and operational coordination to keep daily wash operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the car wash team on a daily basis.
• Assign work schedules and duties to car wash attendants.
• Ensure all rental vehicles are washed, vacuumed, and prepared according to company standards.
• Conduct quality inspections before vehicle handover.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washing area.
• Train employees on proper vehicle cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Report any vehicle damages or maintenance concerns identified during cleaning.
• Maintain daily records of cleaned vehicles and staff attendance.
• Coordinate with operations and fleet teams to prioritize vehicle preparation schedules.
• Resolve operational issues to ensure timely task completion.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Experience in car rental or automotive industries preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
