Developer – Web and Mobile Applications

About the role

Codezy is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Developer based in Manama to design, build and maintain modern web and mobile applications. You will write clean, efficient and secure code while collaborating closely with designers, marketers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features and fix bugs in web and mobile projects.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, optimise performance and ensure code quality.
• Write technical documentation to support maintainability.
• Work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, propose technical solutions and contribute to project planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of core programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, Vue or similar.
• Practical experience in backend development, RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases; familiarity with server‑side technologies like .NET, Java, PHP or Python.
• Experience with mobile development tools (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin or hybrid frameworks).
• Understanding of software development best practices: Git version control, testing, debugging, CI/CD pipelines and basic security principles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Bonus: experience in digital agencies or product companies, agile methodology exposure and strong communication skills.
