Director of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure

About the role

The Director, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure will shape and execute the enterprise-wide information security strategy, ensuring that all systems, data, and processes are secure, resilient, and compliant with regulatory and industry standards. This senior leader provides strategic guidance, drives risk management, and prepares the organisation against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI‑DSS.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across all technology platforms and operational processes.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and incident response planning.
• Create, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Report security incidents, breaches, and risk assessments to senior management, the Board, and regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of hands‑on and strategic information security experience in financial services, FinTech, payments or digital assets.
• Proven executive leadership as a Director or senior manager.
• Mandatory CISM certification; additional certifications in Blockchain Security, Data Privacy or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success launching or scaling digital finance platforms and cloud‑native environments with 24/7 incident response (CSIRT) capability.
