About the role

The Director at SG Software Académie is a full‑time remote position that provides strategic leadership, operational oversight and academic direction for the organisation. The role shapes the academy’s vision, drives growth, and ensures high‑quality curriculum aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the academy’s vision and growth strategy.
• Oversee program development, curriculum quality and alignment with learner needs.
• Manage and mentor cross‑functional, remote teams, coordinating collaboration and resource allocation.
• Monitor performance against key metrics and report to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain partnerships, represent the academy in external forums.
• Develop and enforce policies, manage budgets and prepare strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and management experience in an educational or training environment.
• Strong strategic planning, organisational and budget‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centred practices and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Management or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in software education or technology training is highly beneficial.
