Divisional Manager – Services & Operations

About the role

The Divisional Manager – Services & Operations oversees a broad portfolio of retail services, including stores, food vending, automotive, warehouses and facilities. Reporting to the General Manager, the role ensures operational efficiency, financial performance and compliance across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate operations of multiple retail locations and service outlets.
• Control financial performance, develop and manage operating budgets, and conduct regular financial analysis.
• Implement NEXCOM policy changes and procedural improvements.
• Oversee inventory control, customer service programs and operational reporting.
• Act as Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) for vendor contracts.
• Ensure facility maintenance, safety, security and fire‑prevention compliance.
• Lead a team of supervisors and staff, providing guidance on administrative and operational matters.
• Prepare and file required financial disclosure reports.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in retail or service operations, including supervision.
• Minimum 3 years of general experience in merchandising, sales promotion, inventory management and customer service.
• Education: 1 year of post‑secondary study in a food or management‑related program may substitute for part of the experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and improve operational efficiency.
