Environmental Specialist – Consulting

About the role

The Environmental Specialist will join a multidisciplinary project team to deliver high‑quality environmental services to clients in Bahrain. The role involves both desk‑based analysis and field work on land and sea, ensuring compliance with local legislation and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver environmental consulting services.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare and submit reports and presentations to regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all environmental documentation complies with local legislation and standards.
• Conduct field work, sampling, and interpret laboratory analysis results.
• Develop tender documentation and support business development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain’s environmental legislation and standards.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and external agencies.
• Highly organised, deadline‑driven and able to prioritise tasks.
• Commitment to continued professional development.
