F&B Captain – In Villa Dining

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Captain to lead the In‑Villa Dining team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. The role involves delivering personalized, ultra‑luxury in‑room dining experiences for guests staying in private pool villas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the In‑Villa Dining team during shifts, ensuring high service standards.
• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in‑room dining service.
• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards, promoting upselling opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of trolleys, workstations, and equipment, following HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Handle collection and breakdown of used dishes, trays, and trolleys efficiently.
• Report guest feedback, complaints, and irregularities to management.
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods and operate a buggy for timely delivery and collection of orders.
• Take full responsibility for Destination Dining setups and create “WOW experiences”.
• Train, coach, and mentor junior waitstaff, coordinating daily tasks to ensure timely service delivery.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of luxury in‑room dining experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or captain role.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities, professional grooming and guest discretion.
• Ability to work outdoors and safely operate a buggy.
