Finance Executive – Accounts Payable

About the role

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking a Finance Executive to lead its Accounts Payable function. The role involves managing financial statements, incentive schedules, and revenue reconciliations within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate statements for third‑party outlets and credit tip summaries.
• Validate and finalize incentive and commission schedules submitted by departments.
• Compile salary deductions from staff bars and other outlets and prepare related documentation.
• Manage team member telephone deductions and post commission and incentive journal vouchers to the Sun system.
• Prepare month‑end revenue reconciliation summaries with Opera and the Sun system, reconciling guest, accounts receivable, and deposit ledgers.
• Post month‑end telephone journal vouchers to the Sun system.
• Produce daily revenue reconciliation reports comparing Opera, Sun, and Symphony systems.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
• Leadership and team‑management abilities.
