Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, reporting, treasury, budgeting, governance and performance management for Energy Capital Group and its subsidiaries across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The role supports executive management with timely insights, ensures compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulations, and drives financial discipline throughout the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements; coordinate external audits.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and develop financial models.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance, prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working‑capital optimisation and banking relationships.
• Oversee debt facilities, covenant compliance and treasury controls.
• Support executive reporting, financial disclosures and regulatory filings.
• Develop and track group‑wide financial KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Lead, develop and mentor finance staff, establishing SOPs and a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, ACMA, CA).
• 5‑10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in private‑equity or energy‑related environments.
