Financial Analyst / Investment Analyst – Research & Business Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Financial Analyst / Investment Analyst to support strategic decision‑making through rigorous financial analysis, market research and business intelligence. The role will help the company identify growth opportunities, assess investment prospects and provide data‑driven insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize and analyse financial, operational and market data to identify trends and support business planning.
• Build comprehensive financial models, forecasting reports, profitability analyses and valuation assessments.
• Conduct industry, competitor and macro‑economic research to uncover opportunities and risks.
• Prepare investment memorandums, research reports and executive presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance, business metrics and market developments, and flag potential impacts on strategy.
• Support valuation exercises, M&A analysis, capital allocation and strategic planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, strategy, operations and sales teams to validate assumptions and deliver accurate insights.
• Maintain financial databases, improve reporting processes and contribute to automation projects.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment principles and corporate finance.
• Experience interpreting financial statements, balance sheets and performance indicators.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance with reporting standards and internal policies.
