Handyman Technician – Accommodation Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Accommodation / Handyman Technician to keep our Heartist accommodation at the highest standards. You will work in a dynamic 5‑star resort environment, handling preventive and corrective maintenance across a range of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in staff accommodation.
• Repair and maintain air‑conditioning (AC), electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building elements.
• Inspect facilities regularly, identify issues and resolve them promptly.
• Troubleshoot faults while minimizing disruption to guests and staff.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment and accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in building maintenance, preferably in hotels or residential facilities.
• Good working knowledge of AC systems, electrical works and plumbing.
• Experience with general handyman tasks such as carpentry and painting.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize requests and communicate in basic English.
• Positive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to quality.
