About the role

The Head Host/Hostess leads the front‑of‑house host team at Trader Vic’s Bahrain, ensuring every guest receives a warm and professional welcome. Based in Manama, this full‑time, on‑site position coordinates reservations, waitlists and table assignments to optimise service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, managing the reservation system and waitlist efficiently.
• Oversee and coach the host team, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Handle phone inquiries, confirm bookings and respond to special guest requests.
• Collaborate with restaurant management and service staff to maintain smooth operations during peak periods.
• Monitor table turnover and adjust seating plans to maximise capacity.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive rapport with guests and colleagues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional phone etiquette and proven customer‑service experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Organisational attention to detail and calm demeanor in high‑volume settings.
