Head of Advisory

About the role

The Head of Advisory will establish Braxtone Advisory as a trusted, high‑growth partner to insurance‑sector boards, executive teams, regulators and investors across the GCC. The role combines strategic business development, client leadership, and delivery excellence to drive measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Advisory business strategy, annual plan and three‑year growth roadmap, owning the practice P&L.
• Originate and convert new assignments through market credibility, executive relationships and targeted campaigns.
• Act as executive sponsor for strategic engagements, ensuring quality, client confidence and commercial performance.
• Develop and lead service offerings across insurance strategy, transformation, claims, M&A, regulatory advisory and digital/AI initiatives.
• Design the practice’s target organization, recruit and coach a high‑performing team, and build scalable delivery capacity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, insurance, engineering or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• Typically 15+ years of relevant professional experience in insurance advisory, consulting or related sectors.
• Professional credentials such as ACII, FCII, CPCU, CFA, CPA/CA, CISA, PMP or actuarial qualifications are advantageous.
