Head of Marketing

About the role

The Head of Marketing will own the brand, demand generation, lifecycle marketing and customer insight functions, driving ROI and acquisition efficiency. This senior leader will set strategy, manage budgets and report results to the board.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the marketing strategy and annual plan aligned with revenue targets.
• Own the marketing budget, allocating spend by CAC, payback and LTV.
• Build, hire and develop a high‑performing team; manage agencies and freelancers.
• Run full‑funnel acquisition across paid search, paid social, affiliates, partnerships, referral and app store.
• Own funnel metrics from first touch to activation, first transaction and retention.
• Develop lifecycle and CRM programs (email, push, in‑app) to lift activation, engagement and cross‑sell.
• Lead brand positioning, messaging, PR, thought leadership and crisis communications.
• Oversee content and SEO to educate customers on financial topics and drive organic growth.
• Partner with Product on feature launches, pricing, sales enablement and competitive analysis.
• Ensure all campaigns meet financial promotion, consumer protection and data privacy regulations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of marketing experience, including 4+ years leading teams.
• Background in fintech, banking, payments or other regulated consumer/B2B tech.
• Hands‑on expertise in performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM and marketing analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
