Highway Design Engineer – 10+ Years Experience (GCC/Bahrain Preferred)

About the role

Consulting Engineers Group Ltd. is an ISO‑accredited global consultancy with over 40 years of experience delivering flagship infrastructure projects worldwide. The company is seeking a Highway Design Engineer with at least 10 years of experience, preferably with GCC or Bahrain exposure, to join its road and highway design team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare highway and road design drawings, calculations, alignments, profiles, cross‑sections and junction layouts.
• Carry out vehicle swept‑path analysis using AutoTURN.
• Develop technical reports and tender documents in line with international and local standards.
• Coordinate with utilities, multidisciplinary engineering teams and client authorities.

Required profile

• Masters in Highway Engineering or Transportation Engineering (preferred) and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in highway and road design projects; GCC/Bahrain experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with international highway design standards and local authority requirements.

Required skills

• AutoTURN for swept‑path analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing highway design drawings and technical reports.
• Knowledge of international highway design standards.
