Highway Design Engineer (10+ yrs experience, GCC preferred)

About the role

Consulting Engineers Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Highway Design Engineer to lead highway and road design projects. The role focuses on delivering design drawings, calculations and technical documentation for infrastructure projects, preferably within the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare highway and road design drawings and calculations.
• Develop road alignments, profiles, cross‑sections and junction layouts.
• Perform vehicle swept‑path analysis using AutoTURN.
• Coordinate with utilities and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards and local authority requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings and liaise with clients and authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in highway and road design, with GCC/Bahrain exposure preferred.
• Master’s degree in Highway Engineering or Transportation Engineering (preferred) and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Proven ability to prepare design drawings, technical reports and tender documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoTURN for swept‑path analysis.
