HVAC Technician – Residential & Commercial

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Bahrain and involves installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems for both residential and commercial properties managed by Zayani Properties.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Check, adjust and calibrate controls to optimise energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to service requests from tenants and property management.
• Coordinate with other technical staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and time spent.
• Follow all safety standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Support high levels of tenant comfort and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting ability for HVAC systems.
• Practical plumbing skills related to HVAC installations and maintenance.
• Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
• Knowledge of electricity and safe electrical practices for HVAC equipment.
• Familiarity with EPA‑type environmental standards and refrigerant handling guidelines.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC, mechanical or electrical fields.
• Previous experience in residential or commercial HVAC environments is preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and work orders, and to use diagnostic tools.
