HVAC VRF Technician – YORK Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC VRF Technician to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will specialise in YORK VRF systems, handling installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain YORK VRF air‑conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VRF indoor and outdoor units.
• Diagnose and rectify system faults, error codes, communication issues, and operational problems.
• Inspect refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, communication cabling, and control systems.
• Conduct system performance testing and verify compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, evacuation, and pressure testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical defects in VRF systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to complete assigned works efficiently.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and commissioning documentation while adhering to safety procedures and Bahrain regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of hands‑on experience with VRF systems in the Bahrain market.
• Proven experience with YORK VRF systems (mandatory).
