IT Support Engineer – Onsite Validation

About the role

The company is seeking an IT Support Engineer to perform an onsite validation of IT equipment in Manama, Bahrain on 31 July 2026. The assignment lasts approximately two hours and requires close coordination with a remote support team.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the site at the scheduled time and obtain required access.
• Physically verify assigned IT assets, confirm asset details and inspect for visible damage.
• Check power, network and peripheral cable connections and power on devices to confirm basic hardware functionality.
• Validate network connectivity and device status under remote team guidance.
• Capture clear photographs of equipment, cabling, asset labels and installation setup.
• Report any missing or damaged components and coordinate with the remote team to complete all validation checks.
• Obtain final confirmation from the remote team before leaving and submit a validation report immediately after the activity.

Required profile

• Arrive onsite at the scheduled reporting time.
• Follow all site safety and security procedures.
• Maintain continuous communication with the remote support team.
• Accurately complete validation tasks and provide supporting photographs.
• Leave the site in its original condition.

Required skills

• Laptop and mobile phone with internet connectivity.
• Basic toolkit for hardware inspection.
