Jewelry Sales Associate / Supervisor (Luxury Retail)

About the role

The Jewelry Sales Associate / Supervisor delivers a highly personalized luxury shopping experience while driving sales performance and supporting daily store operations. The role combines expert product knowledge with client relationship management and, at the supervisory level, leadership of the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, identify preferences and budget, and recommend suitable jewelry, gemstones and precious metals.
• Maintain deep knowledge of collections, new launches, brand heritage and market trends.
• Handle high‑value transactions, quotations, payments, refunds and special orders with accuracy.
• Ensure visual‑merchandising standards, stock checks, inventory reconciliation and secure handling of merchandise.
• Develop long‑term relationships with VIP and high‑net‑worth clients through clienteling and after‑sales follow‑up.
• At supervisor level, lead the sales team, schedule shifts, conduct briefings, coach staff and monitor performance against KPIs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry, Gemology, Luxury Retail, Business or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in luxury jewelry or premium retail, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, craftsmanship and product care.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese or Arabic are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using CRM and inventory‑management software.
• Ability to conduct stocktaking, inventory control and loss‑prevention procedures.
