Junior Reliability Engineer

About the role

IRISS is seeking a Junior Reliability Engineer to join its Bahrain team, supporting diagnosis and condition assessment of rotating equipment across power plants, aluminum facilities, process plants and other industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vibration measurements and analysis on rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, fans and compressors.
• Conduct Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) testing and diagnostics.
• Support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance programs.
• Interpret vibration spectra, time waveforms, phase data and other condition monitoring information to identify developing faults.
• Conduct field inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, and support furnace thermography and high‑temperature inspections.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to customers.
• Work on multiple concurrent site assignments while maintaining high HSE, quality and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on industrial experience with rotating equipment, vibration analysis, MCSA, condition monitoring or reliability engineering.
• Valid Bahrain driving licence and willingness to travel across Bahrain and the wider region, including multi‑day site assignments.
