About the role

The Al Manzil Hotel in Manama is seeking a full‑time Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests using the hotel pool. You will be the primary guardian of pool safety, responding swiftly to any incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area continuously and enforce all safety rules.
• Supervise swimmers of all abilities, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
• Administer first aid and CPR in emergencies and keep rescue equipment ready.
• Conduct regular water‑quality checks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety signage is visible.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to hotel management.
• Assist guests with pool‑related inquiries and collaborate with other hotel staff to uphold a safe atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong swimming ability and solid water‑safety knowledge.
• Certified Lifeguard training, including CPR and first‑aid certification.
• Excellent observation, situational awareness and risk‑assessment skills.
• Clear communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Physical fitness and stamina for prolonged standing, swimming and rescues.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Previous pool‑supervision experience in hospitality or recreation is beneficial.
