Male Fitness Instructor – Recreation Services

About the role

The Male Fitness Instructor will be the primary point of contact for guests using the property’s recreation facilities. You will create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment while promoting the full range of activities available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information about pools, beach, entertainment zone, fitness centre and child‑activities centre.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for recreation programmes.
• Enforce facility rules and safety regulations; respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for rentals, activities and retail sales.
• Assist with private functions, group activities and events.
• Offer first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
• Deliver professional guest service, including welcoming guests, answering phones and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite, hospitality‑focused environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift (≤25 lb unaided, >25 lb with assistance) and move in varied spaces.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Commitment to safety, confidentiality and company policies.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and information retrieval.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
